Creating Personalized Family Calendars

At Our Family Calendar, we wanted a monthly calendar that had a column for each member of our family, including our little puppy Bella. We all had our activities and commitments, each on different days and times.

It was hard to fit them all into a single box for each day, as with a standard calendar. I would have leisure activities and work commitments, kids would have dentists, sport, swimming lessons etc, puppy Bella would have vaccination dates and mum certainly had her social activities and appointments. Busy busy busy ...

I had seen one example of a multi column calendar in a shop, but it actually had too many columns and was also quite expensive ... so I created my own using Word and printed them off at my local print shop for a few dollars. That was actually hard work, and each month was a manual chore to create.

So, I then designed this website so we, and anybody else, could have just the calendar that we needed to organise the family activities and commitments ... basically, using a few selections and the click of a button.

Any print shop can print that file on A3 paper at minimal cost.

Another great thing is that this 'Create Calendar' website is available at any time of the year, so you can get your calendar any time you like and not have to hunt around to purchase a yearly calendar in Novemeber or December.
